http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24484607 I wonder how many shares Sepp Blatter (or his relatives, or his cohorts) has in this German-based company? Mmmmmmmmm.
Whilst I'm usually equally cynical I think this time football has it right. There are two systems. Fifa and the world cup is testing Goal Control and the premier league is testing hawkeye. There are sound reasons behind this. Hawkeye is the best system, but what if it actually doesn't work. The football world cannot realistically all back one horse at first. Hawkeye will win. But for once world football are working together - testing two systems and giving both some volume and prestige to compete and develop.
He won't own it I'm sure...but it wouldn't surprise me if he's profited from it somehow, the big *****.
