How much should we expect if D.Rose is sold to Bury?I reckon between 75and100k but a sell on clause of around 30%.What do you think would be fair.
Something around that. Only problem is the amount of money we've spent developing him all these years in the academy. Must get some of that back if we are to sell. Agree with a large sell on clause too.
They've apparently been linked with six figure bids for a player at Accrington Stanley, so I'd expect a similar amount for Rose. I don't think a fee of about £100k would be bad business. I'm not convinced he'll ever be good enough to be one of our main strikers.
If it is true abart selling, then this will tell us how desperate for coin we are. Time for a bit of payback from Flicker or will we roll over at the sight of the folding stuff.
If you remember, the sell on clause Manchester City demanded in the sale of Gerry Taggart was 50 per cent.
We have hed one or two offers turned darn and had to revise our offers, lets see Bury doing the same, not just accepting the first offer on the table.
Yes, but he was quite good wasn't he! Still represented good business for us. We got a great player for a few years for £100k and then made another £750k when we sold him.
Trouble is a lot of people on here that have slagged Danny off are scared that he will score 20 plus goals this season for Bury and get sold by them for a good profit.
Danny Rose will cost significantly less than we want to receive, but more than Bury want to pay. He'll have fewer and lower clauses in his contract than we want including, but more than Bury would like. If we've sold him at all, it didn't sound that way from Wilson's post match interview on Saturday.
50k at most I'd imagine. Danny Rose wanted to leave, it was a tough decision for him but he decided it was for the best. David Flitcroft is a very convincing salesman. He's promised Danny the world. Good move for him though. Now he's in the Hillcroft circle of trust he's set up for the next 15 years.
