As things stand we are out on our own as the top scorers in our league with 8 goals in 4 games. When was the last time we were able to say that?

We had until the ref got involved. It wasn't a penalty in a million years. Just too players who went down together. It wasn't a foul either way. It looked like a corner to them nothing else.

I'll be honest, I thought it was a penalty. He got round Dudgeon and was then brought down.

Very good game for Dudgeon besides that. Hope we can keep him for the season.

It's not until I've seen it again a couple of times that I've thought it wasn't a penalty so I think the referee can be forgiven for giving it considering he only gets one look at it. I probably wouldn't have said that if it was the decisive goal, but as it stands it was a consolation so I'm not too fussed.

I was in the East Stand Upper on gangway 16 and it was clear from there that he took the ball fairly.

After seing it on TV it was clear that the ball was played out before the Gillingham player had his attack of collapsing leg syndrome. The ref was well placed to have seen it. He should not have given it if he hadn't seen it clearly.
