Evening everyone I'm going to Wembley but don't want to stop in London I want to stop outside London and get the train in. Does anyone have any recommendations of somewhere nice and child friendly to stay ? But easy to travel in and out of London. Also which hotels let you book 3 kids in a family room thanks for ur help
try these High Wycombe.. Amersham... Aylesbury.. all lovely and all have either a train or tube link and good hotels and pubs etc

Re: try these i'd 2nd watford if driving down, though last time there we had to leg it to another station, 2 in watford,or there was then
Yeh we're driving down but getting train to Wembley there and back. We're aiming to get there a good few hours early though as we want a few beers.
Cheers everyone is it easy travelling to London from Watford? Think we will go Saturday and comeback Monday go site seeing on Saturday
I recommend taking the train into central London, there are hundreds of great hotel deals, plenty of trains out to Wembley, magic time in the West End
Tube directly to wembley just over 1/2 hour Turn right out of station on same side weatherspoons cross road take next left Wembley on right. Cross over road up slip road tp stadium Or carry on up to just past mcdonalds then walk down wembley way with fans
We're doing what we do when we go to London for theatre trip and museum visits each year. Stay in either Watford or Hemel Hempstead Premier Inn (booked HH for Wembley - £35 for a family room) and then train to either Watford or Harrow for Wembley with one change or direct to Euston if doing the tourist thing. Last train from Euston to HH or Watford is well after 1am. Usually able to get kids tickets for train and zone 1-2 underground for a couple of quid. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
im going down on the sunday morning to watford junction then into wetherspoons on the high street for breakfast, 1141 to wembley central, think we got the pubs on the high road so pub crawl to the stadium then shout the super reds to victory
