The lad also makes his way down to oakwell everyday as I have followed his car down Dodworth road many times on my way to work. He may be training in the gym most days but not full training. It's not like he's sat at home on his arse pulling a sicky. A football club will have many injuries over a season. I personally think our fitness team most be doing a good job as we aren't doing too bad when it comes to injuries and recovery.
Employers have a duty of care to help their employees. Even football clubs. I think they might be doing this.
Would that be the same manager who kept telling us Connor Hourihane couldn't play in a midfield 4 and thought Sam Winnal was best deployed as a winger/midfielder ?
This is unreal. Flying, stable squad, off to Wembley, 24 points from 27, a Barnsley lad in charge who everybody is behind. Very little to have a pop about right now..so let's move onto injured players. Mega. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Overrated player anyway, Williams. Don't see how he will fit into team as well, if he ever gets fit. Not good enough for wing, not strong enough for centre mid. Best position is in the hole in a midfield 5 which we don't play anyway. Good luck to him though!
Yeah we're in the playoff places now - yer know, that place where you said it was impossible for us to get to. Oh and there's still 11 games left.
i can't quite believe reading this. from 24th to 6th and top form team in the league by 7 points, since 1st December. and this. unreal
He wouldn't get in the team anyway but when our accounts show we're losing money it doesn't look very good to be wasting salaries on someone on £100k plus.
I agree. I'm really disappointed with the way things have worked out because I'll admit I was excited about his signing after the form we saw from him last season.
I may be wrong in answering on behalf of someone else, but I think the point he may be making is that whilst everything is going well for us, it seems sad that someone has to drag the bottom of the lake to come up with a body to wreck the mood. Ryan being the body. So that's what it's got to do with him.
