I wish that the game would turn on these players so they know that behaviour like this means that no other club will touch them. The problem is that no matter what they do there is always another club willing to reward them with a contract.

What's even worse is that some supporters will condone it.

The ones who tell you that football is an entertainment industry and therefore players should be paid in line with film stars etc. Presumably that argument isn't going down too well with fans at Villa Park this season.

Let him train with the kids until his contract is up. He'll soon lose the tag of "Danish international"

I presume they aren't paying him given that he is refusing to 'work'.

I think my employers are a bunch of idiots. I think I'll ask them to not consider me for future days work. I shall expect some money in my pay packet at the end of the week though. Surely that's not too much to ask? :)

I'd give him a few choices.. One. **** off. No paying up of the contract. No more brass from villas kitty.
Two. Look at sacking him for gross misconduct. Then sue him when he gets his next deal like Chelsea did with mutu.
Three. Refuse to release him. Refuse to play him. Have him train on his own away from the club. Have him turn up every day.Like Blackpool did with danger danger.

I'd be happy with any of these options.
