Have I missed something or are we leaving it a bit late for the Wednesday away tickets to be announced?
Seems that way. Think it will be a sell out. They seem to have had a sign over us in recent years, hope we can give them a jolly good spanking this time.
It will be 36 quid like they are making Rotherham pay. I heard on Football Heaven last night one of their fans complaining about it and I didn't blame him. They will be down with the christmas trimmings so it would take an hardcore fan to pay a silly amount of money to watch their struggling team.
I might be crediting the club with a bit too much business nous here... But given the information up front a lot might choose not to even take up the offer of £15 for Friday because they want to watch us at Wednesday instead.
I can pretty much walk to Hillsborough. If it's £36, though, they can ram it: and this is from a season ticket-holder who goes away often enough.
I'd pay £36 to watch us do 'em in their own back yard, then laugh all the way home. Trouble is as someone said earlier, they've got a hoodoo at Hillsbrough at the minute.
Let's hope we do as well as Barnsley FC Ladies did the other day! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en-gb"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Women's Challenge Cup<br><br>Sheffield Wednesday Ladies 0 - 16 First Team <a href="https://t.co/5hzZQpk3UA">pic.twitter.com/5hzZQpk3UA</a></p>— Barnsley FC Ladies (@BarnsleyLadies1) <a href="https://twitter.com/BarnsleyLadies1/status/800434622064627712">20 November 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
What a shame that loads of us are going to miss 2 of the biggest games of the season (Leeds/Wendies) because of ridiculous ticket pricing. No way am I paying that for Championship football.
... sickening last minute, disputed winner for the Deedars. I'm still going. I have to be there the time we actually win there.
That's five of us giving that a miss then. It was always going to be £36 minimum with the possibility of it being £42 as it was for Leeds I think. Real shame, I would estimate about 2000 still going but we'd have sold out at a reasonable price.
