Perhaps so. I hope not though. You'd have thought we'd know already what his wage demands might be and if we could afford them.

The longer it goes on without news the worse it is to me - likely that someone else has nipped in and is prepared to pay more for him.

 

Someone on tw*tter said he was at the club last night.

We have an option to buy in our contract and that remains until the summer. He can't move to any other club until the summer.

He'll be our player shortly I'm sure. Any transfer takes a bit of time. Unless it's deadline day...
