dunno. not seen or heard owt to suggest that. if we wanted him that much, and he wanted to be with us that much, personal terms would have been sorted on jan 2nd and he'd be starting at bloomfield road today. until he's our player, we don't have a say in it.

Maybe he wants the wage that a team 8th in championship should be paying lol.

Its obvious to even a knuckle dragging blunt that his personal terms have gone badly wrong or he'd be at Oakwell now, Barnsley have had enough time to have got it sorted.

I'll say if he does not sign next week then he's not coming.

If he'd been on the verge of signing for us, He wouldn't have played today..... May be here by the end of the window, But if he's getting more dosh at Wigan and starting games, Then why should he leave if Wigan now want him.

That's my take as well. Clearly the personal terms we can offer aren't as good as Wigan and if he thinks the new manger wants him he may well have decided to stay there. His choice. He is under contract to Wigan after all and he doesn't owe us anything. Shame if true but he isn't irreplaceable.

Wigans player they can do what they like with him and as for suggesting he should refuse to play for them, I personally wouldn't want any player here that would pull a cnuts trick like that.I like the lad and think he's a cracking player and would love for him to sign but if he doesn't then we move on, sithi.

I have a strong feeling we will not be signing Morsy. My guess is that he's on a fortune at Wigan and we simply will not match it. I also think Hecky's will be mightily pxxxed off if we don't close the deal.

It just stinks really tho doesn't it . Wigan didn't want him at the start of the season so we took him on loan got him fit and match ready , we've triggered the release clause in his contract so basically we've done everything by the book and what Wigan have asked . So in return they rub our friggin noses in it by playing him . Well I would tell them to chuff reyt off and good luck in league 1 next year .

Perhaps given what we're prepared to pay him, he thinks it best not to come after all.

In which case he's a footballer, a Wigan one, and guess what he's paid to do.......

Well you wouldn't know a great deal if you're a mushroom.

I'm more of a sprout. And sprouts know nothing compared to mushrooms.

What exactly have Wigan done wrong. They loaned us a player they will sell him at the agreed price but player hasn't agreed to move to us permanently. New manager wants to play him and I guess hope to convince him to stay. All seems perfectly reasonable to me. By the way Wigan have a different manager to the on that told Morsy he wasn't wanted so it's not a great shock if he sees a good player he can use.

Yeah but what we do know is we've offered the agreed fee a week ago and it's down to personal terms. Feels to me like he's not coming. We'll see..

I think by saying at the start of the season ' we don't want him ' then letting us get him match fit and paying his wages for six months, triggering the agreed release clause by offering the agreed transfer fee and the player saying he wanted to come to Barnsley. Then Wigan saying basically you can ******** we're keeping him after all . In my book they've done a he'll of a lot wrong. Its morally wrong and it stinks .

They haven't said they're keeping him after all though, have they? They recalled him because they were entitled to and were in the bottom 3. We've activated the clause and offered the fee agreed. The stumbling block is personal terms, which is nowt to do with Wigan really...unless Wigan have offered him improved terms to keep him.
