Enjoyed the board today. First I was intrigued by Young Nudger’s thread on dance. I’m looking forward to his exploration of the impact of ballet on the modern western classical tradition in future posts. I can’t help but think he must have been one of the performers in the video to Avalanches ‘Since I left You’. And then came the lyrical beauty of tyrone’s freeform poetry in the Cambridge thread. I’m hoping for further pieces in the romantic form, or perhaps the heroic in ode to Karl Oyston. Or Gordon Brown. I’m wondering if there are any other undiscovered cultural talents in our midst.
In my spare time, I like to give lectures on the importance of learning the driving laws of other countries, before hiring a car there.
