It looks like the number of sold tickets for tonight's game will be approx 3,000. This means that it is possible that a similar number will turn up at the turnstiles to pay cash. All available turnstiles will be in operation, in Ponte and East stands and there will be four cash turnstiles for the Ponte end and six for East stand Clearly the club is trying to ensure that any problems from the Northampton game, do not surface again. The SLO's will be helping to ensure fans are directed as needed. Please help by moving to other turnstiles if requested. The club always asks that you are in your seats for 30 mins before kick off. I know that the majority don't usually. Please try to help fellow fans who may arrive late due to work etc. Enjoy the game.
Supporter Liaison Officer Mr C. Still time to buy your ticket, don't have to pay cash. It will obviously be quicker at the turnstiles if you have a ticket. Especially if the one in the cash queue hasn't the right money. Also it will appear on your ticket history. You never know when you're going to need that. Unless you are relying on your Colchester stub!!!
4 cash turnstile operators, when you're expecting around 3000 paying cash, sometimes I honestly believe, we'd be better off with Irish man from the English man, Irish man, and Scottish man, jokes running the club, rather than the jokers that do it now.
Think you can. I'm going to do it that way. Mind you, last time I did that my lad and me both had the same bar code on our tickets so they wouldn't let him in, and the stewards wouldn't let me back out to get him. Please tell me this type of thing isn't exclusive to us. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Does seem strange. Having a ticket scanned and going through the turnstile takes seconds so you don't need many. Pay on the night and folks turn up taking an age to get their cash out and might have to wait for change too slowing it down.
More than enough. Can't see pay on the gate approaching anywhere near 3,000 but even if it does, that's only 300 per turnstile
Rascal Still chance to change your mind now there are ten turnstiles !!!! Mr C You should be able still to print at home, however, it's not always available to print at same time. Official timescales can be up to 24 hours, although this is very unusual. Off to match now so can't reply. Up the reds. Nothing on tele so get your fifteen quid out and get down to Oakwell.
Yeah but only 4 worth using, I wouldn't go int East if BFC paid me, I'm working until 19-00 wouldn't get to Oakwell until 19-30, it will to be a nightmare must be 14/16 turnstiles on that Ponty end and you're opening 4 to cash, you don't people's money.
Whether you like the East Stand or not is irrelevant, lots of people will and those 6 turnstiles will take probably over half of the pay on the day supporters, therefore meaning less people using the 4 in the Ponty.
