So in January we lose Morsy Bree Hourihane and Winnall and loan out Payne. To be replaced by Jones (loan) Elder (loan) James (loan) Mowatt and Hedges. Bit disappointed to say the least. Also not sure what our plan will be for the Summer as i am pretty certain Scowen and Watkins will move on and all the loanees return to their parent clubs. We also still dont have a CEO which is a concern given our owners current state of health. Oh well. As Hecky says we move on.
No it wasn't. They were contracted till the end of the season like Watkins and scowen and they're both still here. I doubt any of them would have spat their dummy and dropped they're effort otherwise who would have taken them in the summer? They are professional footballers and it's their job to perform as that's how they get on and make a living. Grips my tird that folk think we had no choice, when of course we did.
mate, I'm sorry to hear about your tirds. But I reckon that if a player wants to go and we get money now instead of nothing in May... well I guess that maybe you could say that we have a choice, but I'd best be off to work.
Correct - under contract - just say no transfers out this window from the outset. We are asking too much of Hecky to keep this show on the road with a bunch of loanees and rookies.
Well you can't complain when we start to slide down the league now and will require nearly a full starting 11 again come the summer like a fair few on here who are seemingly happy with selling our best assets for a few million. When the manager publicly states his dissatisfaction with what's gone on as he did after the wolves match in his words and tone then all should realise this wasn't part of the so called 'plan'
Can guarantee you Winnall would have made a big deal about it. Bree's understandable as we are set of earn alot more than 3 million with his addons. Morsy it was Wigan who got him back, nothing to do with us. The only exception would be Hourihane, who I believe was genuinely in 2 minds whether or not to leave.
I also bought into the hype again Jack and I hoped we had something a little bit special lined up as a replacement for Winnall. The reliance once again though on yet more loanees (unheard of and even injured Premship youngsters) doesn't sound great does it. But I know we've not become a bad team all of a sudden just because of the deadline, or because of the Wolverhampton result either.
