I did a bit of digging and can tell you Bradley Ash is still at WSM despite his initial loan running out on 9 January. I assume it must have been extended to the end of the season. He is playing and scoring regularly in National South, wearing the no. 9 shirt. His contract with us runs out in June 2018.

2 clean sheets for Evans then, playing centre back.

    Thanks RedAllOver.

    I appreciate these updates.

I just wish there was an option to see the most recent postings first in threads like this, but that's because I'm lazy.

It's a bit sad that Tuton and Payne can't get in Shrewsbury's or Barrow's first teams. Suggests to me that if they are not good enough there then they are certainly not up to our standard. Free transfers coming up for both I reckon.

Tuton seems a bit of a odd one because he started really well at Barrow so I'm not sure why he's not starting anymore. Clearly hasn't done enough to impress. Got a feeling Payne may have been injured last night given he wasn't in the squad. His time there hasn't really got going in fairness due to injury.

At the end of the day, not all lower league signings will work, but if we didn't look in lower leagues we would never have found Hourihane or more recently MacDonald or Yiadom!

    Today:

    League One:

Lewin Nyatanga played 90 minutes as Northampton beat Charlton 2-1

Stefan Payne was again not in the squad for Shrewsbury's 0-0 draw with Coventry City

    National League:

Shaun Tuton was a 74th minute substitute as Barrow drew 0-0 with Sutton

Callum Evans was not in Macclesfield's squad and they clearly missed him, losing 0-3 to Forest Green

Matty Templeton was an unused substitute as North Ferriby picked up a crucial 2-1 win over Woking

    National League South:

Finally Brad Ash scored twice including a penalty as Weston-super-Mare beat Oxford City 3-0

Brad Ash seems to be scoring for fun at that level. Given that we are a bit short up front now it may be time to recall him?

I'm sure I read somewhere over the weekend that Callum Evans had returned from his loan spell for treatment on a hamstring injury.
