.. you'd be saying how crap you were in the first 30 mins.........and still not too good up to half time....

..and how the manager changed it so that you bossed it for the second 45.

    Is that right?

Mick made a change at half time and his team responded but if I was an Ipswich fan I'd have been relieved when we took Bradshaw Hammill and Hedges off

They effectively went 4-2-4. McCarthy gambled and his gamble changed the game and paid off massively. We failed to react and for whatever reason we persevered with a system that wasn't working and one that saw us ship two sloppy goals and surrender a lead. The most disappointing aspect for me is that we seemingly resorted to long ball tactics, aimlessly lumping it forward towards Ugbo/Payne's general direction.

They had to lump it up though because the midfield somehow went missing or were marked. I am not smart enough to know what went wrong, but we never bothered to do owt about it.

That's not strictly correct. Williams was always an option, as was McCarthy at right back. Far too often Jackson and Angus launched it long and it came straight back.

I'm not sure I agree with that. McDonald usually passes it if there's someone spare. Jackson lacks any real composure though and just gets rid.

There were nowhere near the same options as there were in the first half though.

Pearson too, seemed only capable of a back pass.
