First 20 mins I thought "wow, this is the next rough diamond ready to polish". Then I don't know what happened. He didn't look towards the bench as though he'd taken a knock but it looked that way. Then his performance went to pot a little. Looked like he was blowing out of his arse.
Fantastic vision and through ball though to set up that Moncur chance.

Like I said after Tuesday. Strong, wholehearted player but not a full back at this level.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a regular centre half for us as things progress.

I thought Pearson and Hedges linked very well for the first half hour.In fairness he was up against a very good winger.

I thought he was injured as he kept looking over at the bench. Their change of tactics 2nd half seemed to give him so reprieve as he wasn't tested anywhere near as much as first half. Early days but not impressed so far.

I think it's far too early to judge whether Pearson's a Championship full back at this stage. Bree, Yiadom and Golbourne hardly pulled up and trees when they first pulled on the shirt but all three proved themselves thereafter. It's one hell of a step up from Accrington to the Championship, that's for sure, but we'll see.

Even until bree was sold bloke at back of me was constantly slagging him off hammering him every game. All opinions but I thought bree was great going forward could always put a decent ball in defensively suspect at times but if have him back tomorrow at this moment in time.

Pearson looks more like a centre back to me, not mobile enough for a Championship full back but it's early days so we'll see. Thought he looked the business early on today, quick to the ball and strong, but then either through an injury or apparrent fatigue, he seemed to lose his way quite alarmingly. Towards the end of the first half he could hardly run and relied on others to help cover that side of the pitch. Second half he regained some composure and was solid enough. Time will tell. He looks to have a lot of heart and that's always great to see. Hope he develops into a top player.

He was immense for the first 20 minutes. Ffs people stop writing players off.... he's been here a week and all the players need time and support. If you aren't willing to support them then **** off.

No one is writing him off. I like the lad. It's just pretty obvious to me that full back isn't his natural position.

He looked tired mate I agree, but I can't agree with people saying he's not good enough or he's not a left back.... he's played 2 games for us.

Unfortunately our fans have no patience. We will dick forest on Tuesday, no doubt at all. These young lads are learning, and they're getting better every game.

3 times now. Not that it makes any difference.

He's not quick or athletic enough to be a modern full back. I'd have thought that was obvious?

Saw he took a knock mid way through first half. He looked tentative afterwards. I don't think he was blowing, he was breathing and looking like he was dealing with a bit of pain. Didn't see much second half as I was in West stand lower.. But first half he looked good.

Tricky situation having to mark a wing back as well as your usual duties in the middle of the park. Tricky Micky played that one well and their no2 snuck in behind a few times.

Pearson seems like a proper laiker. Give him time he'll come good. Not afraid to get stuck in to a tackle as well, which is something we need.

So you've seen him in 3 games and come to the conclusion that he isn't a full back?

    This board is Great!

I remember when you all blasted Sam Winnall when we first signed him and he went 11 games without a goal. The things wrote about him on here was awful. He turned out to be one of our best strikers in the last 20 years.

We can all have an opinion, I just find it really odd that anyone can pick fault at any of our players really. 90% of the side haven't made more than 2 appearances for us.... give it time.

It's not about patience. It's about players out of position.

What is it about "I like the lad" that makes you think I don't?

I just think he's a good centre half and not a full back.

    It's no big deal
