Don't often post but gutted today I suppose like everyone else.
Very naive team and no experience in an extremely strong league.
Adam Hammill was tremendous today, not just in his skill but desire to win and general ora and experience,I hope his head doesn't go down because we're going to need every bit of experience he has !!

I bumped into a friend who is an ex premier league footballer and ex lower league manager at half time who is now a season ticket holder with his young son if he thought the defence would 'gel' he wasn't very supportive of my question!!

We need an experienced head at the back to partner Angus.

I know there's a long way to go but if only Roberts and Yiadom were still here!

One of the biggest problems with the defence is not clearing our lines.

Today ipswich put some hopeful balls in and we had free headers, but we didn't get any distance on a lot of our clearances and invited them to pick up the ball and come again.

Even against morecambe we struggled with their corners and Crosses

Purely out of curiosity, is the former footballer who supports BFC David Wetherall? According to his Wiki page he supported Wednesday as a kid, but my mate who supports Leeds always said that Wetherall was a Barnsley fan. Otherwise I can't imagine who it might be.

Be good to have a experienced leader at centre defence , a Paul mcshane type

Doncaster Rovers are now (not a bigger club cos I think such terms are *****) but have proved to have more ambition over this summer.
They fought off and kept their best player... where we are happy to sell and continue with ...The Plan ...

But be warned... more fans are realising they're being sold short... Results you cannot mask..

How much was offered for their best player? And also who was offering?

If the money had been right, he would have been off, but we're probably talking a few clubs from league one offering very little.
