    Already appealed according to bbc report. Derby have had their transfer of the lad from Birmingham cancelled too

    Said that they (Barnsley) had to wait for Swansea to release McBurnie - and McBurnie arrived at Barnsley wanting to get started with a big smile on his face.

    Now then ....... if I was Oli McBurnie I would be finding out who or which party dragged their feet with the deal.
    And when I found out that it obviously was foooking Swansea I would make life extremely difficult for them.

    agree with that has to be down to swansea, mcburnie said he'd signed and done photo's and the deal was agreed weeks before

    I bet he's as gutted as us!

    makes you laugh when chelsea's deal for drinkwater was deemed ok though?

    who says money talks?!? when did sepp take over at the efl???

    The window closed on Thursday 31st August and we understood that McBurnie was
    at Oakwell on the 29th presumably to sign the paperwork before flying off to join the
    Scotland U 21 squad. Sounds very much as though the blame for failing to register him in
    time, lies fairly and squarely with Swansea. A right ball of chalk from start to finish.
