    Fooking Disgrace!!!!

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Every single opponent completely parks the bus but it's totally England's fault that while winning games the matches aren't entertaining.

Pathetic. Every single critic & hater online. Absolutely pathetic.

We are a cracking qualifying team however something happens at major tournaments be it nerve or the fact we face a better standard of opponent and just cannot compete at a higher level.

Slovenia didn't park the bus. England simply didn't have the creative spark or ability to create much of an opening. No-one's doubting the stats are impressive, but the journey there hasn't been the most scenic.

Do you think you might be a bit too sensitive for social media? Or just media full stop?

Playing 4-2-3-1 at home to Slovenia (with one of the two being Horrenderson) then bringing a CH on for a winger at 0-0. I'd have sacked him last night. The thing is, he meets the FA's requirements and with the players as bad as they are, what's the point of spending big money on Eriksson/Capello type?

Be interesting if they could tempt Ancelotti though.

it wouldn't help, Hemsie says Paul Gascoigne was ****. Last time I started a thread asking if we will ever have another Paul Gascoigne it spiralled out of control lol.

[QUOTE="Conan Troutman, post: 2026036, member: 54154" with the players as bad as they are,

    QUOTE]
come off it, we have probably the best striker on the planet right now. The rest are topPremiership players.

Clearly the English media/public are the problem, piling on the pressure and getting the knives out at every opportunity. No wonder they've froze up at world cups in the past

The only thing positive about yesterday's England match was the result. That's been true of pretty much all of the campaign. I thought it was a dreadful game of football and I thought the way the team was set up was 'safety first / must not lose'. The problem is this is how we're always set up, so when the game is a 'must win' rather than a 'mustn't lose' we don't know how to do it. If you're happy with how we play then fine. I'd just hope that England would be a bit more ambitious. I don't expect England to go out and wipe the floor with everyone they play. I just want them to show a bit more intent. See, I'm pathetic.

If they are so good, why do so many people say they are so bad?

Can't comment myself as I never watch England games, but many people that do say they were bored out of their minds. And not just last night.

This is the worst England team in my lifetime and my earliest recollection is Poland and Jan Tomaszewski in 1973. I've seen England teams with resolute defences, who are difficult to break down. I've seen England teams with inspirational leaders, who provide drive and determination from midfield. I've seen England teams who can pass the ball and show a bit of flair in the final third, particularly from set pieces. I see none of that in the present England team. There's one hope at the moment...that Harry Kane will get on the end of something.

exactly. Players are seen as failures before they start the tournament.

Make your mind up. Either we're expecting to much or expecting too little. Can't be both.

    Spain
    Brazil
    Germany
    Belgium
    France
    Uruguay

    By a long way .

    Total ******* ********

Is there a player capable of making something happen out of nowt? Of breaking down these teams that park the bus?

They've failed at tournaments as they actually come up against better teams or teams that have their own identity and way of playing which isn't a poor imitation of something successful elsewhere
