    Which questions would you ask?

    e.g.

    1. What do your tattoes depict?
    2. What names have you given to your children?
    3. Do you have a non-motoring conviction?
    4. Do you always vote for the same political party?

Any real obvious character exposing bombshell questions?

Sorry, I was just being lighthearted. In truth I'm not sure four questions would do it. It takes time to genuinely gauge someone's character. Someone could answer four open questions in any way they might feel you would approve of. Four closed questions wouldn't tell you too much anyway.

If I asked you if you were a complete knob, how would you reply?

    1. Half price.
    2. Egg
    3. No
    4. Not at all.

Where does that leave my character?

Depends. if I knew you always started conversations with that question, i might think "physician heal thyself".

But I would be completely thrown by such a question and might weakly answer "only partially" or summat.

This reminds me of many years ago when I went to the USA. The immigration form had questions along the lines of "Are you a terrorist?", "Do you have a bomb with you?", "Are you a murderer?", "Have you engaged in moral turpitude?", "Do you support L***s, Sh******d Wed*****y or Sh******d Un***d?".

That question in terms of character assessment only tends to concern itself with a limited market - the truthful mass murderer.

My answer to the "moral turpitude" question might have been a bit vague, but i would have said no given that it sounds a bit decorating-related

you only need to ask the one question

'tell me something about yourself that no one else knows about'
