Is that "Ian the Eckington Blade" by any chance? The one who tells us EVERY time he is on, and before that he told us he was the Blackpool Blade.

That's him. He spends the first minute of his 3 minute phone calls explaining that he lives in Eckington, that he previously lived in Blackpool but moved to Eckington. He then gives his excuse as to why he didn't go at the weekend. To start with it was that he wasn't returning until Clough was sacked. When Clough was sacked, it was because Blackpool was too far away (not that it stopped him before). When he moved back to Eckington, he still didn't return to the lane. He occasionally mentions he's been away.

    Then moans.

The other week he came on after a 4-0 win, and began his summary of the game with, "the first half was terrible. We probably edged it but we could have no complaints had we gone in behind". When it was pointed out that they'd won the game, including Leon Clarke's 4 goals, he responded with, "but he could have had 8. He missed 3 or 4 easy chances".

He's the most miserable person I've ever heard.
