    1 vs 2. blood pumping.

He’s a very very limited footballer.

I have a simple philosophy (is that an oxymoron?) -- anyway - I turn up at KO time with my ST, get a team sheet and hope to see a good match with us getting 3 points. Sometimes I'm disappointed - occasionally players have a poor game.

But my support and respect for Hecky and the team he has selected never wavers - regardless of performance.

    Think it's called unconditional love!

Scowen was quality. Been left out is irrelevant because other quality players were in his place. He played almost every game last season. Morsy didn’t play that many.

Again, QPR’s form is irrelevant to how good Scowen is, QPR fans like him & see his as one of their best players.

I’m not really interested in how the team performs when comparing player against player. We barely won a game in the second half of last season because we couldn’t score goals due to losing Hourihane & Winnall & had players like Jones & Elder getting regular starts. Scowen & James in the middle of the park were the best part of the team post Christmas.

I’ve never said any of our new players won’t prove to be better in time but right now none of them are anywhere near.

    I disagree.

But my opinion counts for nowt. Hecky’s is the key opinion and he picks him every week.

Nobody at Birmingham looks good at the mo - when he was here he was one of the pillars that we were built on. imho selling him was the worst decision of the last few seasons all things considered.

Scowen is a very consistent versatile proven championship player, the type of player needed, along with Roberts, who would compliment the younger players brought in. We don't have that, which is one reason we are struggling. Hecky thought he had it with Gardener but he's been a huge failure, but its no surprise with the amount of game time he has had these past couple of years.
I think a lot of the happy clappers and arse lickers are majorly confused when we say we need experience. We don't mean age as in 30+ year olds, we mean players who have notched up 50+ appearances in this league recently, players who are familiar with the league.

I loved him. Great bloke n all. Was the one departure that saddened me the most. Although Sessi going wasn’t far off. Loved that nut case.

I don't disagree with some parts of the strategy. They are just common sense really - let's try and sell players for a profit. What I don't agree with is the level it's being done to and I still don't see what the long term goal is. The players we have sold have been replaced with lower quality and less experience. If we give these players the experience and they do improve the sole intention for doing this is to sell them. Then we start again. We're not trying to develop players for the long term benefits on the pitch. It's all about the income. Which is why we systematically dismantled a team that was seventh in the table and replaced it with punts. I'm not paying £300 a year to watch us try and turn rough diamonds into quality players for the benefit of Aston Villa or Swansea City.

    Leroy Lita.

(I think those two words still win every argument about the age of players).

I like Potts he’s a good honest lad but at this stage of his career miles behind Scowen. Slower in thought and of feet. Scowen is a consistent Championship level player nothing I have seen of Potts thus far suggests that as of yet but there’s still time for him.

And that, your opinion, I accept. I didn’t realise however, that mine couldn’t be afforded the same treatment.

And four others. So far. Not halfway through the season yet so who knows what will happen?

Everything is ok as far as I can see. Those doing the majority of posting are fans who don’t rate the squad and predicted we’d be bottom, back in August. So why are they unhappy at this point?

Of course however left field. Seems akin to saying Bradshaw is better than Bale to me but if you said that your opinion be respected.
