80 - Bradshaw yellow carded for denying a quick free-kick being taken. 66 - Davies yellow carded for not taking the goal-kick quick enough
And then they decided to give 6 minutes extra time!! If we were losing you know it would be 1 minute. Only ourselves (or Bradshaw) to blame if they score 1.
To be fair, both were bookings, and Davies could have been booked three or four times every game for three months for time wasting. It’s obviously a tactic
I agree with you but how often have we seen that at Oakwell and opposition players have got away with it. The free kicks one winds me up most. It seems like everytime we get one there is a player immediately on the scene to stop us taking it quickly. Not once have I seen any of them booked. Goalkeepers time wasting is appalling as well, but they all do it. My only point was that seeing an opposition keeper even spoken to about it is very rare and bookings almost NEVER happen. Davies got caught today. I just wish it was a fair playing field regarding these things.
Goalkeepers at Oakwell wind me up so much. Remember Wigan at home last season 0-0. Obvious they played for a draw with the incessant timewasting. I gave al Habsi the middle finger at FT
If they're definite bookings, why was Reading's player allowed to get away with it on Saturday without being cautioned?
Pick any game this season and there has been one, possibly two opponents doing it every chance they get. Even when the likes of Gardner or Williams have blasted the ball against them the referees have done nothing. It’s cheating that needs stamping on
He still talks about this to his psychiatrist. It gives him sleepless nights, plays on his conscience all the time.
