Think that the pigs may get dragged into the relegation battle if they're not careful. Here's hoping!!
In a right state, with a very very good squad on paper as well. They've just brought in a new Director of Football or some other title, who was part of the royal mess made at Charlton Athletic. Chansiri may have mega bucks and fair enough Wednesday have come on leaps and bounds over the last two seasons, but what a mess they may be getting into. Here's hoping our new owners have a much more sensible grasp of how to run things. I think they have.
Wednesday took the 3 years interest free credit (using financial fair play rules to run up debt ) . Those 3 years are nearly up , time to pay .
Proof if any were needed that just chucking money around does not guarantee success. Only 3 teams can go up no matter how much cash everyone else spunks. They are in a proper mess. Squad is, on paper, far too good to go down this season. But the well is running dry. They gambled and chucked all their chips on one spin. Next season could be interesting....
Nah, there's 20 games left yet to make sure we stay clear of Burton. You can never be disappointed when Wednesday get hammered at home. Its in the handbook.
Mega bucks? Looks like he's spent the family fortune... https://www.forbes.com/profile/kraisorn-chansiri/ When he pulls out they're in trouble.
Read the OP on this thread. He paints a grim picture https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/265527-somebody-wake-me-up-please/
I saw that earlier, but I've only just managed to pull myself together and get my sides stitched back up again. As Barnsley fans, we don't get that many opportunities to celebrate these days, so I'm happy to enjoy myself this evening at the Fowls' expense. They'd do it to us. At this rate they're serious relegation contenders. Just how funny would that be? It would be life-threatening for me......
I said the other week that sacking Carlos would be their downfall. He's not the problem there, their clueless owner who has no idea on how to run a bath, nevermind a football club is the issue.
