That surely means a striker is lined up. We've left ourselves a little short unless 1) we've someone else lined up 2) we're willing to give Adeboyejo or Brown a chance or 3) we had no say in his recollection.

Good, not good enough at this level. Needs game at league 2 level.

Hopefully paves the way for a target man.

Imagine that Chelsea will be looking to farm him out to another Championship club. Will be interesting to see how he does in a different environment.

Shame it didn't work out with us and sending him back is correct call. I reckon he would benefit a loan spell out at a high placed league 1 club where he would surely score a few and get some confidence back.

Surely this means something is lined up to replace.

I'll be surprised if another Championship club takes a gamble on him. Looked out of his depth.

Looks like Chelsea activated the recall, based on this article, so we may not have anything lined up as yet.

Disappointing spell, given the hype as 'better than Tammy Abraham' at the time, so not too bothered to see him go back.

I've just put the kettle on.

Surely that means a replacement is lined up?

Ugbo has been unfortunate - he came with the understanding that he would get game time - but there are two other similar types of players here already with Thiam and Bradshaw.
I think given time he will do well.
I wish him luck for the future.

He didn't look out of his depth we just never played to his strengths just like Armstrong last year! No good knocking 60 yard balls upto him to hold up is it? He'll be a decent player in a few years time.

He was given as much time as the other 2 if not more. Think back to the fist 2 months of the season.

I think you’ll be in a minority of one if you are claiming he didn’t look out of his depth :)

In 5 years he might have a decent career somewhere, I doubt it will be Chelsea or the premier league

Messi would look out of his depth playing in a team that pass the ball around at the back until they're in trouble then punt it long up top. Not the lads fault our pattern of play is inconceivably bad. Put him in a better system that's gunna play to some of his strengths and I'm sure he'd do much better.

Coming from a top club is no guarantee that he's any good.

I call my first witness - Phil Gridelet.

Jesu jumping Christ Man U stitched us up there.

That could be said about any player though. Sometimes you can see a player isn’t good, strong or experienced enough. It’s not his fault he was placed with us, too early for him
