Moore for Moncur for me, we're at home and expected to lose, so go for it. A Hobson's Choice of Fryers over McCarthy at left back if he's fit.

Even worse, Keith Stroud is the ref :eek::eek::eek:.

Fryers is in front of McCarthy surely especially at left back.

Whatever people say about Fryers he’s rarely been torn to pieces this season and is actually pretty steady. Very one footed and boots the ball in the stand every now and again but at least that doesn’t cost you goals.

I like both Fryers and McCarthy but McCarthy has been awful at times and has been torn a new one in 4-5 different matches.

Got to agree regarding fryers - bit clueless as to why he gets so much stick on here

Genuinely think it’s because of Hemsworth.

He’s had a far better season than McCarthy who on the whole gets very little criticism in comparison to Fryers.

Could have a point there. Also chipped in with a goal and a couple of assists, which often gets overlooked when people are bemoaning his set pieces.

Personally speaking, I think the form of these two lads has been in and out this season, but both have shown glimpses of what they can achieve if they hit a level of consistency and the criticism of them has been over the top. It appears, sadly, that extremes must be used when discussing our players and woe betide anyone who happens to have a bad day, or run of form.

Yeah he’s been steady enough and room to step up a gear once his attacking improves.

Baffled as to why anyone would select Moncur in their first 11.

Interesting how many people don't rate Fryers and say that Yiadom is either not trying or past his bet, yet Mccarthy is seen as the player that has made the step up and is comfortable at this level.
