Can't remember a controversial or bad decision and got the three yellow cards spot on. Almost flawless, glad he wasn't at the Keepmoat....
Number 18 dove in our box to try and get a penalty. Ref saw the dive, didn't even have a word with him after holding up the game for 5 minutes while he received no treatment and made a miraculous recovery.
So you are ignoring all the good decisions & then marking him down for not giving them a penalty. HARSH.
Whilst no ref is perfect he was best we've had this season by miles. He even stopped them moving their thrown ins up the field which other refs seem to let go every week. Re their fans, what a joke. Shows how being at top has made them expect to get every decision to go their way
No I'm marking him down for not booking a clear dive. Game changing decision as we would have been playing 10 men for most of the game
As far as Keith Stroud goes, that's definitely the most even-handed he's ever been with us. Thought he managed well to not get suckered into most of their theatrical excesses but number 18 really shouldn't have been on the pitch for the second half. Two outrageous first half Oscar performances should have seen him booked, in addition to the foul that he was rightly shown a yellow for.
From my viewpoint in the Ponty he didn't dive, he just slipped and turned his ankle. Wasnt seeking a penalty, didnt ask for one.
Yep that’s how I saw it from the Ponty as well. You could see the marks in the ground where his foot had cought . Not complaining though I thought it added to the atmosphere
I think he was criticising the ref for not booking him for the dive. Although personally I thought he just turned his ankle.
Never a clear dive. If anything we got lucky cos Mallan could have been sent off for two yellow cards.
