Gave me snippets of information yes. Not told me names of transfers and asked me to post them on the BBS like you have said there.

Please find for me where I’ve said information posted on here comes from a training ground source.

You have said in the past that hat was the case but you refused to say who the source was.

And **** me so I didn't quote you directly with the exact words that Patrick said to you. He gave you transfer information knowing you would post it. In your words "I do believe that to some extent he was using me for the benefit of the club to test the waters with fans". No I haven't criticised that leak of information. I haven't criticised you. I asked a ******* question. Grow up.

Ps stop pming me with almost identical messages to what you are posting on here. It is completely pointless

We need to look at the pay structure. We’re probably losing good players, because we’re not paying championship wages. I understand the economic arguments, but if we can get a run in the prem we will be among the worlds richest clubs. The new owners said they’d fund a run at the premiership. We’re probably not talking massive money in some cases.

How many clubs have been ruined having a run at the prem because of the rewards ?
If the pay structure needs revisiting then so be it but it still has to be within our means.
Some on here are not bothered of the consequences as proved with the attendances during admin.
Well I am and if the new owners start putting unsustainable debt on this club for a gamble I for one will be vociferous against it

It does. It’s making it more difficult for the head coach to do his job. We lost what looked liked s good winger last week. The model needs to be closer to Burnley who have a strict pay cap that is realistic. Is our’s realistic for this league? You tell me.

Burnley are in the prem so obviously gonna be bigger than ours.
Maybe side by side given the percentage of outgoings we are in line with Burnley’s pay structure who knows? you tell me

As RAC rightly says, these days it's relatively easy to find out what's going on regarding incomings. We have rolling news channels, mobiles, social media as well as Sky Sports and Sky's Transfer Centre etc.
It would be very difficult for a Club to take action against anyone for initiating rumours or speculation on players who may/ may not be signing. Back in the day, the only source football fans had was their local or national daily paper. My late Dad was a Doncaster Rovers fan and as well as managing the Main Stand at Belle Vue on matchdays, he was in charge of the Staff who manned the main telephone exchange in Doncaster. He became involved through his job in an enquiry in the 50's regarding " someone" selling confidential information regarding Doncaster Rovers transfers to a then national newspaper. It all started in 1955 with the transfer of their centre half. Rovers manager Peter Doherty agreed terms for him to go to Glasgow Rangers and a story appeared in the paper. Following the article Newcastle United stepped in and offered a higher fee, so he went there. From memory it was more than Barnsley got for selling Tommy Taylor to Man Utd. You would have thought the Rovers Chairman would have been happy with the transaction, but what he found disturbing was the conversation between Peter Doherty and the Newcastle Manager appeared exactly word for word and so he called an investigator in. Things seemed to die down when a rumour started to spread that the police were involved but in 1957 the exact same thing happened, when Doherty and Matt Busby's exact words appeared in the daily paper when Rovers sold their keeper Harry Gregg to Man Utd. The enquiry was all " hush hush" and was not in the public domain.
At the time, to make a long distance phone call, you had to call an operator at the telephone exchange, give them your number and the number of the person you wished to speak to. The operator would dial up the number and when the call was answered, flick a switch to connect the two people involved in the call. Apparently the operator could if they wished listen in
to any call and so the theory was that the " mole" was either someone within the Club or a telephone operator at the local exchange.
In 1958 the articles seemed to stop. That of course was the time when STD ( Subscriber Trunk Dialling) where you could phone who you wanted to speak to without having to contact the operator started and the Munich Air Disaster happened. Sadly as well as the players from Manchester United quite a number of Sports journalists who wrote for the national dailies also perished. To my Dads knowledge despite the Clubs best efforts, nobody was ever accused of doing anything untoward
and therefore the source of the " leak" remained a complete mystery. In those days journos could write under a pen name and the papers were not mandated to disclose the source of their information.

Sadly this reminds me of times before when we've fallen into a cycle of signing players, sending several others out on loan, looking to bring more in and not playing well whilst flitting between team selections trying to find something that works. And yes, some injuries haven't helped. On top of that we're apparently going to be paying fees much above our realistic budget.

If we sign say four more players, they've all then got to find time to settle in and get used to playing a certain way - unless we drop on lucky and everything clicks.

Well given people are crying out for them to spend some decent money then I personally hope that they dont fritter it away on dross panic buys. Still it's their debt now, so nothing to worry about.

You said to please find where you said your information comes from a source at the club. So I did. Not that it makes a blind bit of difference like.

The screenshot you’ve posted doesn’t have any relevance to that.

    Of course it does.

"Please find for me where I've said information posted on here comes from a training ground source"

    Then....

"What's even funnier is the ones who think the employee doesn't realise I'm posting despite the club reading this forum every single day"

Two direct quotes from you. One saying you dont have a source at the club, one saying your source reads this forum every day.

    Cheers.

    Lol you’re genuinely talking rubbish.

That whole screenshot has literally zero relevance.
