Terms agreed with player, nothing agreed with club yet. Apparently has 500k release clause according to journo on twitter
500k in Euro’s so 400k ish it’s nothing really is it in today’s market with his record albeit in Austria. Seems a very dangerous game haggling over a potential 100/150k
Didn't someone report it been the other way around the other day, terms agreed with club but not player.
If the club want him, then based on above, where is the delay? Very worrying how we seem to struggle to finalise a negotiation.
How does that work then, agreeing terms before agreeing a fee with the Club? Isn't that called 'tapping up'??
Depends if the selling club give permisson for the player to discuss terms with the buying club. Sometimes they will if they think a fee will be agreed
I think they have allowed him to talk to us as the valuations weren't too far apart and negotiations ongoing, but the release clause is now public and Wednesday are reported to be interested as their new manager knows him from previous club. Need to get it done
Pretty sure fee was agreed. Today will be the second time he’s come over and last time we offered him a contract so I’m not sure how that would have happened without an agreed fee. All been well he’s coming over today to sign his contract and will be announced by Wednesday.
Article infers it's his Club who are stalling. Wednesday hovering. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/01/2...nesday-linked-christoph-knasmllner-agrees-ba/
Be good to get this one over the line. Won't be impressed if Wednesday get involved waving silly wages about as we all know how that will end.
This is the $hit that frustrates me. We must have about £20m in the coffers now. We shouldn’t be arguing the toss over £500k
I'm not one for paying more than necessary, but if we paid £756.000 for Brad Potts, £500,000 seems a snip for someone with Christoph Knasmüllner's record. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-barnsley/transfers/verein/349/saison_id/2017
