I believe they're trying, but nothing concrete there. Angus wouldn't have played again for atleast 2 months, so he wouldn't have been a replacement for Pinnock either way.
Baffled. If Angus isn't fit for 2 months why on earth are Hull willing to pay a seven figure sum for him now.....??!!
Cheers. Would have liked to have seen what McBurnie could have offered given how much he’s been talked about! Would be happy with Fletcher.
If that’s the case then goodness knows why Hull who are in a relegation scrap are signing a central defender who can’t actually play until the end of March/beginning of April.
It's not an injury, more a medical issue and match fitness so perhaps they think they can fast track it? Not sure either way. He does have some off field issues here though, so it could be a deal that works for both sides.
If it's done subject to a medical and he's out for 2 months, surely he'll fail the medical? Or am I missing summat?
When I saw this, being the daft old bugger I am, the first thing that sprang into my mind was 5's & 3's! I think it's time to have the odd glass of grape juice!
We're after a late loan deal as cover for CB. That obviously all depends on MacDonald and the fact that were after a hull striker as part of the deal. Could get messy this one.
I really don’t see from an on field perspective how it works for us as things stand. I’m not having a go at you by the way, I’m just flabbergasted that up to press we have only Lindsay who’s a natural central defender and who’s fit and available. I find that incredibly worrying. Obviously it’s a completely different ball game once Pinnock and Jackson are fit but this just smacks of off field issues and the club looking to cut their losses. In Hecky we trust.
