Lets face it going to Leeds is not a long term job he will be lucky to see the season out. After that he will be lucky to get a league two side. So onward and upward there's better and more loyal managers out there. But having said that loyalty seems a dyeing trait. Barnsley are a good honest club and need to preserve Championship status if possible.
If he's done all that off the back of a falling out with a fan, during one of the worst runs in our history and with 90% of the fanbase still behind him, he's going to love Leeds. He'll probably get worse than he's ever got at Barnsley at half time on Saturday .
Tbh, with all the publicity surrounding his move there aren't many owners who are going to touch him. The mob that run Leeds have shown themselves to be morally on his level and I can't think of anyone else right now who is equally as devious.
Who next? whoever its imperative to be the right man to work with the squad he has. Unfortunately we are a selling club excellent youth system and scouting but never the less a seller of academy talent. Its sad but all the South Yorkshire clubs are similar in this respect. I say grind some result out to get to 50 points win ugly and regroup for next season. On my first question Mick McCarthy wouldn't be the worst choice, after all he is a tyke through and through.
