Afternoon - hope all is good.

Just wondering how Kieffer Moore has been getting on performance wise for you boys? Never really got a chance at Ipswich but that was mainly down to having better strikers than him at the club rather than anything he had done adversely. Hope he does well - seems like a good lad.

Good luck with the new manager hunt. Mick McCarthy must be in the frame being a Barnsley lad and player plus it looks like he is leaving us in the summer. Don't think he has anything lined up but a natural conclusion to a spell where he has done very well on a shoestring budget. The football isn't great but the team always gives 100% and he sorted a lot of problems when he got here in the dressing room.

    Cheers
    ITFC

If yours is a shoe string budget, we're wearing slip ons.

Moore is different to what we already have, and I expect he'll be OK when he gets his first goal. Looks quick and strong in the air.

Wed love big Mick, but I'm not sure he'll ever manage us. We've got such affection for him and I don't think he would want to spoil that.

    Welcome.

I think Moore has done OK so far. Worked hard, been starved of service like all our strikers, but adds something we didn't have to the front line. Hopefully the goals will come sooner rather than later, but no complaints on the signing.

As for Mick, I think many of us would love him to manage Barnsley, but few of us think it's likely as he's always maintained that he wouldn't want to do the job. He'd be at the top of a lot of many wish lists, but wouldn't likely feature on 'who do you think we'll appoint' lists.

Eh up !! Reckon Moore will be good when he settles in gets some service and confidence with a few goals.
Been reading on yer site that some of you already giving names on who you want next - try a bloke called Heckyarsehole - you will probably get him in the Summer but he will bring an entire office with him !!!!
Would luv MM personally but don't think he will come.

PS - hope you loose every match from now on

Things hopefully better now for Moore, the trouble with Hecky is he wanted all the forwards to be defenders. We had Stephan Payne a striker who couldn't get game time because he couldn't defend, we ended up letting him go and he is scoring for fun. Hopefully the shackles are off now and lets see if the players are allowed to express themselves.

Hard to know about Moore because we have no-one capable of supplying him with any quality passes. He looks willing enough. Our hopes are apparently pinned on a midfielder called Knasmullner who didn't even make the bench on Saturday.

Please send Big Mick now. We need him after losing one of the best head coaches we've had!

I assume you mean he is poor in your opinion , personally I think he is very promising & played very well against Fulham in the last home game & hopefully a goal will kickstart his confidence & he will go on to be a useful asset , in my opinion he looks good

Only way he’ll ever be able to keep possession of the ball is if he sits on it.

A bit of an odd way to sign off! What have you got against Ipswich?

No, you’re right he didn’t make the bench. A bit hard to when you’re in Austria like.

And you don't think we should be wondering why he is in Austria when we're towing with a midfield not fit for purpose?

Always had a lot of respect for the Ipswich fans after the playoff final 99/2000 season. Very amicable bunch of fans

Kieffer is trying his nads off but doesn’t look like scoring at the moment. Honest hard working guy and I’m sure the goals will come with the right service

We all would love big Mick to come back. The season you guys are having with little money spent is incredible. I’m also impressed with some of the signings he’s made for you guys (Waghorn)

He knows the league and gets the team playing with 100% commitment. I don’t get why a lot of your fans want him to leave?

Seeing as he didn’t have international clearance to play I think we’d have been a bit daft to include him in the squad. Bit odd to think otherwise.

Not personal - would drag them into a battle - won't happen though
