On pretty much all of the likely candidates on oddschecker. Meaning the bookies have no idea at all and not a lot of money is being laid on anyone.

I’ve an awful feeling they’ll give Harsley all of February. Nothing against him, he could be brilliant, but if that’s the plan they should just give him it to the end of the season now, this month’s fixtures are too vital to plod along with the question of who the manager will be hanging over them.

Whoever is getting the gig needs to be sorted now. Not in the usual dithering Bfc fashion.

I think he'll get most of the month purely because all this has been a surprise to the board and nobody else has been lined up.

Grayson would definitely be my choice and with him being a free agent, would get him in the building quicker then having to mess around with approaching clubs etc. If we are looking at this young manager thing again, Graham Alexander has got to be in consideration. Can't see Paul Hurst leaving Shrewsbury at the moment.

Grayson would be a good call til the end if the season . He's a decent proven championship manager who after Sunderland has got something to prove . I think he' s a decent chap also which always helps .

No one will be there in a manager spectator role. Barnsley have never done anything quick.
