This is interesting. Could it be a sneaky little hint as to who is our next manager? Just seems a strange time to put something like this out or perhaps I'm reading too much into it.

These 'getting to know' features are a good idea as I didn't know much about Matt or Paul. The word choices are strange at times though e.g. 'After his playing career was ended prematurely through injury, Matt lunged himself into broadcasting with Sky Sports...' It reminds me of when Joey wrote that recommendation letter for Monica and Chandler on Friends and he had used a thesauras on every other word.

Interesting. Especially that John Vaughan will be present, seeing as it was claimed by some he'd also made the move up the M1. I wonder if the dug outs will be high enough for Matt to avoid banging his head?:D
barnsley66 & I have met Matt a few times in the club car park when he's been working for Sky Sports. You couldn't wish to meet a nicer bloke and he always spoke highly of the club & it's fans, even before he became a club employee.

It's simply because he's stepping up in terms of duties for the time being

I would have thought the highlight was the John Dennis book but it's not even mentioned! ;)
