http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05xlwyd Very good interview, speaks well imo. He seems to be settling in now.
So that suggests Paul Harsley is not in contention as he will only have the one game. (If we can get someone in)
Full length interview on ifollow suggests that Paul could be considered and if he is interested they will consider his application and interview him. Although, I still get the impression we are looking elsewhere.
Think the situation dictates this. If we were mid table like last season or it was early season then perhaps he could be given a run of games.
It’s a pity this guy doesn’t spend more time talking to the media. He said all the right things in the interview - but one thing stood out on 07:10 minutes when he said something on the lines of: ‘We need to get a manager who can get more out of the players THAN WHAT HAS BEEN DONE’
Best interview yet for me. This is an opportunity for a lot of people, none more so than GG. He sounded stronger and more determined than I’ve heard him before, but still considered with some humour. Calmness in a crisis will be key here. As a young CEO there must have been difficulties given Hecky carried an almost untouchable presence given how much he was liked by the fans. Even when losing matches. A chance as Gauthier said to change the atmosphere, bring in new coaches, new backroom staff, hopefully better than before.
To be fair that interview was his best yet Filled me with confidence we can get this appointment right We need to move on starting with 3 points tomorrow
I think his style is to be more low profile than Ben Mansford. There are pro's and cons with both approaches. At the moment he has to be the mouthpiece of the club & let PH try & sort out the team on the pitch for Saturday. He has always impressed me when he's spoken to the media.
Sounds like we will be able to play a real game of spot the potential new manager at the game tomorrow
In the ifollow longer interview, "I think the players are fed up of being told they aren't good enough for this league, they are good enough" Very good interviews from the CEO, caretaker and from Yiadom. Come Saturday, if they can galvanise on the pitch and the fans can help them... we just might see a turning point.
I loved the last minute when he was talking about every staff member doing more than what was in their job description not just Hecky Really like this guy. Sure sign he will join Sheff Utd next year
It’s fantastic to see everyone forming a united front in the wake of PH’s walkout. Suddenly there seems to be an increased level of positivity coming out of the club, something that we’ve lacked for absolutely ages. As someone said above, lets transfer it onto the pitch and kick start the new era.
Pretty standard imo dint gi owt away without sounding overzealous or mundane . Dint gi owt away nor encourage speculation . all in all a good Chief execs interview nothing more nothing less but about what i expected. The proof will be not in the pudding but of the eating imo One thing I did take from it is we must respect PHs decision amd without knowing the full facts and reasons (although there has been much speculation jumped before pushed etc etc ) we’re finding it hard to do atmit
