Stood out to me as well.. sounded as if they weren't too sure on Hecky. Maybe they put a clause in hopes that he'll go on his terms rather than making a sacking and getting backlash from the 'one of our own' diehards. Or maybe they were testing him cos they sensed that his head wasnt really here. The fact that he got 1 year rolling contracts suggest his job wasnt really safe here
Excellent interview , although I would like to point out that he said that he hoped we would have someone in for the Burton game , he did not say that we would have someone in by then , hoped being the key word
Funny isn't it.... how just a different voice and a different view can change a supporters perception. Prior to listening to Wendies manager yesterday, and listening to our CEO and caretaker head coach today I was very worried about tomorrow.... now I've heard the interviews and can see the intents and purpose.... I actually fear for the wendies if we get the first goal. First time in months we've heard a bit of optimism, intent and energy in an interview. Only now do you start to see the difference and how actually, this might be good for everyone when you remove the way its all come about.
Good interview. I like the way the guy comes over in interview. Strange though that folk talked about a change of Manager/Head Coach when the takeover was talked about: and it happened
Surely no chance of him getting the job, you must be having a laugh. He might get number 2 at best. By his own admission he is no where near ready.
I thought he gave away a bit more in the full interview. Interesting that Hecky said that he thought he had too much responsibility while he was here. GG rightly said that if we want to be successful then every employee has to do a bit more than is expected of them, and that’s what they’re all currently doing.
