Ref waits until Bamber is virtually striking the ball into goal and he blows his whistle to award a free kick for a foul to Cardiff on the edge of the box. Very poor reffing in my opinion.

I thought the same, but looking at replays ref does glance at Bennett and blow the whistle immediately.

Putting myself in his shoes a head injury takes priority and who was he to know that Sol Bamba would bang a fantastic overhead kick in. Tough one, probably the wrong decision in hindsight, but I can see why he made the decision.

"That was DISGRACEFUL I can't believe it that was terrible... Good game yeah enjoyed it."

Last season the ref. at Accrington deprived them of three points when he blew for time just as the ball was about to enter the opposition net.

The thing is he looked at the foul then looked at Bamber just as he about to strike the ball, half a sec more and it’s a goal.

not seen the super slo-mo, but suspicion of an handball by bamba, possible the ref took it back to the original foul from there?

Hard to sympathise with them tbh, got away with plenty of shithousery under Warnock to the detriment of other teams.

They were playing Millwall. They’re the ultimate shithousery.

Listened it on talksport and phil Brown was almost tossing over how well Millwall front two linked up. I was actually jealous coz our forwards don't even appear to talk to each other or show any sign of link play.

I remember that, ultimately stopped them going up automatically! I'd be fuming.

Hard to sympathise with old Colin but that was disgraceful. He was right, he’d looked away from the foul and only blew when he was about to shoot.

Less certain about the penalty but they get given. The disallowing of the goal though was an absolutely ridiculous bit of refereeing.

That was Trevor Kettle that reffed that Accrington game I believe.

Uncle Colin is a qualified ref.......he should know better and shut his mouth once in a while.

There’s no way I would’ve kept quiet about it, It was an appalling piece of reffing, and I speak as a former Class 1 Ref.
