I read that earlier but had discounted it as lazy journalism when it said... 'a new manager in time for this weekend’s clash with Burton Albion.' We don't have a match this weekend, not until next Tues... plus it didn't match my premonition of McCall..lol
St mirren would hate us. First we pinch Ronnie glavin off them, then Archie, then Jim O’Brien, Liam Lindsey and now their manager. Crikey, I’d avoid Aberdeen if I were you.
Am I missing something? Aberdeen seems like a safe distance from the angry St Mirren fans in Paisley.
I figured it was either that or you were badly hungover. "They'll be rioting in the streets of St Mirren tonight."
I wouldn't mind Jack Ross as the new manager. That way, young Mallan might get a run in the first team.
Not sure someone from the Scottish second tier is the answer. It wouldn't sit well with me either to derail their season with ten weeks to go.
Be honest though Jim, choose what the club do you’ll think it’s the wrong thing, you always do . You don’t have one bit of positivity or optimism in you when comes to Barnsley Football Club.
Sadly I can’t see anything but it not working out for us this season. We don’t really have the luxury of him having time to learn from mistakes and getting used to the division to steer us out of trouble and he’s got no experience of working in English football never mind Championship experience. Here’s hoping I’m proved wrong but it’s no an inspiring choice. Looks to me like the club are resigning themselves to the possibility of us being relegated and this is a move for the longer term.
Good I'd love this to happen. Jack has proved he certainly has something. Got St Mirren playing some really nice football and with a good team spirit. And all with no money.
Might be a fabulous coach but was hoping for someone to inspire the fan base and generate some excitement . This won’t do either and not sure a coach like jack will have too many contacts etc and we need to attract players #disappointing
