I've no idea whether he'll make a positive difference, or not. My opinion is that every club from Sheffield Wednesday down are in a relegation battle.
Yeah it's gonna be close. I'm not monk's biggest fan but don't think he's half as bad as some make out. Plus they seemed in free fall under cotterill so think any change would give them a lift. Still in our hands at minute though and with mcburnie in the team i fancy us to stay up.
Not sure about this. Although looking at Birmingham’s twitter feed, Boro fans are well rid of him! Not one has a decent word to say about his managerial skills. Let’s hope they are right!
The hope is as Birmingham get to a 3rd manager this season that it's just too much of a mess to sort out. At least we have played them already and taken 6 points.
That's generally my take on it. Brum managed to save themselves with a managerial change last season but I have a feeling their luck will probably run out this time around.
My only concern is that any change from what they are currently doing has got to be positive. They can't get any worse. Let's hope they don't get significnatly better.
I just think he's a bang average manager who dropped on his feet at Swansea,Leeds and Boro' . He shows absolutely no passion at all on the sidelines which then transfers to the players . Typical modern day manager who confuses the players with unfathomable tactics , folds his arms on the sideline a see's it all unravel before him then blames the players . Sounds familiar !
Its a bit worrying - for sure they were going down under Cotterill, I think Monk is a better manager though not in the class of someone like Rowett for example - who they hilariously got rid of when they were overacheiving. They have more chance of surviving under Monk than they did before so its bad news for us in that respect. I hope the new manager bounce doesnt work for them this time though
