A man has shot and killed himself outside the White house and the Washington DC police put out a statement saying that their "natural death squad is on the scene" When the capital of America considers a shooting to be a natural death I think it says it all about the state of that country.
This is the other side of gun ownership. In a world that has so many mental health issues, it's making it easier for people to take their own lives. As a "god fearing" country, where suicide is supposedly a sin in the eyes of many, they're pretty laid back about preventing it.
By “so called” gun related deaths you actually mean gun related deaths. The ease of committing suicide should not just be dismissed but even if you take them out of the figures the US homicide rate is 25 times that of other developed countries.
What made you lad the fact a lot of Americans commit suicide by shooting themselves , or do you also find it amusing that a lot of Americans are also killed by overdosing on drugs or dying because of DUI . Nice
Nice attempt to twist it, but I meant the fact that you referred to suicides by gunshot as "so called gun related deaths" as if they shouldn't fall within that description.
They shouldn’t in the context that you are trying to portray. I’m pro gun but I also see the need for tighter restrictions in licences etc you on the other hand obviously find it amusing that some number of Americans feel the need to blow their heads off. Do you find it amusing when they drive off a cliff, takes drugs, hang themselves, slit their wrists etc. Or do you not wanna take those suicides into account
That's clearly not what I meant and you know it. Funnily enough no, I don't want to count those in gun related deaths.
Was there a mass suicide in Las Vegas last year then? Or Sandy Hook? Or Newtown? Or Parkland? Maybe we should just label them all suicides so that certain sections of society can look in the mirror every morning.
No that was a few numptys who got their hands on guns they shouldn’t have , but you knew that already, hence my call for tighter regulation daft lad
Probably, though the Republicans have jammed the brakes on any progress whatsoever again. Can only lead to them getting an even bloodier nose in November.
