Why don't you get yer boots on, and go out for a walk in the fabulous cool air, and have a think about the world in general, smell the smells of the city or the country, depending where you are. Enjoy the open air and the planet that we reside on, breathe the world. Or sit on a keyboard all night arguing
I say keep doing it on here, this place is supposed to be some light entertainment so just ignore the drama. Or laugh at it.....
I have been posting my thoughts on Barnsley FC on the BBS since late 2016 and have ensured that my comments always fall within the Terms and Services and Rules that are printed at the foot of the boards headline page. The mantra is that users should refrain from posting any content that could be construed as defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam like, likely to offend, contains adult or objectionable content, contains personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise violates any laws. The final statement is "Do not submit any content that you consider to be private or confidential." Asked for my opinion on a private Twitter page, I honestly think it's a good idea. The details being published on this site regarding signings/ transfers, salaries etc appear to be uncannily accurate and an admission has previously been made , that the information is coming from " someone" within the Club who doesn't mind it being repeated. Now it's being claimed, that such information is being garnered from Twitter and other media outlets and is only being divulged once it's in the public domain. Such explanations are plausible but the real acid test could yet come if the "owners" of the information were ever to bring Legal action. Knowing a relative who was involved in a Privacy claim under the Data Protection Act 1998, I can vouch first hand I would not want to subject myself to such an ordeal. If such an action were ever to be brought, you have to provide categorical evidence ( not hearsay) to prove every single piece and what's more, the source of your information. In the eyes of the law , if as previously stated, the information is being passed to the BBS member by a third party within Barnsley Football Club Limited, if evidence to support such action could be proven they would be in breach of their Contract of Employment because it could be possible be prove that a breach of confidence had occurred. Either way, I am not bothered whether the information does/ does not continue to appear on this site. Personally having witnessed my Cousin risk imprisonment for his "offence" and the stress it caused leading to a period of ill health, I would not want to put myself at risk of prosecution for the sake of a few likes and a deluge of critical comment. For that reason, going forward, I would personally urge that extreme caution is taken in this matter by all participants.
But it has changed. You only started pleading for likes a couple of weeks ago but you've been a member since 2012 and have posted over 6000 times. So it has changed ergo saying your posting style isn't going to change is disingenuous. As many of us have said to you we appreciate you posting your information (and I mean it sincerely) but if it has to be part of a popularity (like me fifty times and I'll tell you) contest then that's your issue so if you want to take your info onto a private Twitter group then feel free.
Any information you have ever shared that's turned out to be true, as been in the public domain within hours anyway.. so what would be the point.. Apart from stroking your s.i.l.l.y b.a.s.t.a.r.d. ego.,,
You do realise you are a guest on this site ? You dont have any say on who or how people post. That is all down to the site owner (Gally) now if you do not like HIS rules then either leave and post your stuff on twitter or do as he says. You are not the first to fall foul of the rules and you will not be the last either,
That's fair enough Chris. As I've said I don't have an issue with you or your posts in general but asking for a number of likes before you share information isn't doing you any favours. If you know something and want to share it then just share it; we're all Barnsley fans so you must know that most who post on here will want you to share the details.
If the club want this type of information leaking surely they'd just post updates on the website. They don't do that so, presumably, you're acting against what they see as the best interests of the club and, therefore, the fanbase.
Just stop acting like a skooil kid and and act thee age (give me 20 likes and i'll tell you something ffs). Just tell the rumour and you'll be liked wether it be right or wrong.
Dragon tyke telling nudger telling ***** to grow up.... have I fallen into some fantastic space age mind f**k. It’s brilliant as usual
