Anyone else worried Colin's lot will do a job on McBurnie tonight?

Maybe I'm being paranoid but I wouldn't put it past him to, er, take measures to mitigate McBurnie's impact.

While we're on the subject of Colin, I missed this at the time so apologies if it's already been posted:

"Now aged 68, Warnock was in reflective mood during an appearance on Goals on Sunday this past weekend, discussing his long career to date and even making plans for his own sporting eulogy.

"Indeed, he politely requested that, upon his eventual passing, the football world pay tribute by forgoing the standard minute’s silence in favour of something a little more befitting:

"When I pass away, I don’t want any silence or clapping – just a minute’s booing at clubs that hated me.

"The magnificent ****-housing *******. You’ve just got to love begrudgingly respect him."

No doubt he’s done well at certain clubs but the brand of football is fooking awful and not a pleasure I’d ever want . I’ve mentioned before that they along with hull and Brum are the worst teams seen this year , still scratching my head how they’re still up there . Pleads poverty and then pays £6m for Gary Madine ? Mind you a **** like that will fit right into Colins way of playing . Not suggesting we won’t get beat but I think there are far better teams than them in this division !

That style of football Cardiff came to us last season was the worst style of football I've ever seen. Yeh, it's mostly successful but I wouldn't be forking out hundreds of pounds a season away from home to see that.

I suppose result is king. While ever they or any team have success with that style the fans will probably take it, when results start to go though it comes into sharp focus how awful the football is.

We could play like Cardiff every week if it got us to the premier league

Who is out team hardman/men? Moore and Potts? Wouldn't mess with either of them, their role should include mashing anyone who touches Oli.

Colin's lot couldn't cope with Winnall last season who's arguably slower than McBurnie.

I think it's also fair to say, young McBurnie will be fired up for tonight's game.

Hopefully Robert Jones in the middle will make them think twice.
Would be nice for us to get some justice as well as luck tonight.

Strange team, universally accepted as one of the poorer teams to come to Oakwell this year yet are 2nd in the league! I’m sure we’d all love to swap places but wouldnt fancy Colin’s brand of football for any length of time, maybe that’s why despite his success he’s had so many clubs

As a "Jack" it is guaranteed that Oli will get some stick, on a par with that given out to Sheffield players coming to Oakwell with other teams. It's stupid, even moronic, but it's there - Cardiff hating Swansea and vice versa. This will hopefully motivate him to bag the hat trick that he should have had at Brum.

It's almost inevitable that some likely lad will have a go at Oli's exposed shins before too long - it could happen tonight, or it could be the next game. He's a target for other club's cloggers so we just have to hope he's quick enough and agile enough to jump over the leg-breaking tackles that come his way. We will be in trouble if we do lose him, that's for sure.

McBurnie would certainly be safe with this lad as his minder! We still miss you, Stevie. Rest In Peace Coops.

I don't think there's any doubt whatsoever that Warnock will have identified McBurnie as our main outlet for goals, his henchmen will have been instructed accordingly.
They'll try and take him out at the beginning of the game.
Think Issy would have been great running at their pretty static back four, but he's not in squad, so that's a no go.
They'll be in the Ref's face questioning ever decision against them and throwing balls out whenever we get a free kick or throw in.
Really unsporting tactics but it wins them games.
Think they'll have to watch Madine as their style of play suits him and he will be dangerous he's a typical Warnock player.
It's on Radio Sheffield tonight I believe if anyone wants to listen to their love affair with Warnock !

If Cavare plays then they will be out to exploit his shortness of temper....what are the odds for a sending off ?
