Absolute pleasure to have at the cub.

New country. New league. New home. New language. And he’s taken it all in his stride and becoming quite the player for us.

On his interview with radio Sheffield after the game he says barnsley have the best fans in the UK.

So much better to hear compared to the likes of Brek Shea who couldn’t wait to leave.

    Keep working hard lad!

He'd be even better if he started scoring some goals.

Take it you want him out of the club then ?, because the minute he adds goals to his game he’s gone.

So you want our players to be poor so they don't get sold? To be fair working a treat for the whole squad.

Think Jose likes to have a go with this four three three and that’ll do for me . Liked PH so I’m not having a go but it’s refreshing to see us playing a more attacking brand of football ! So much better than going down with a whimper . Not expecting much at boro but then two home games where we’re capable of getting something . The good news is there are teams below us who look like they’re doomed Burton Sunderland and Brum are awful and don’t look like winning anytime soon ! UTR

No if he continues as he is he’s offering a lot more to the team than a lot of front men we’ve had in the recent past. We need a team full of decent players and he’s a decent player, the minute we get really good players they **** off, a team full of grafters punching above their weight, with absolutely no flair what so ever, sharing the goals around the whole team is the only way forward for us.

I only saw the goal last night on a small screen but wasn't it Thiam last night who took the player on and crossed the ball that Knas mishit leading to the goal. He seems to be working well on the Right hand side and putting crosses in. Just need someone other than just McBurnie to get on the end of them and be a bit more accurate with the finish. The little I have seen of Thiam he will do for me!

From what I saw on Sky it was Andy Yiadom (number 17) who crossed the ball which Knasmuller scuffed towards McBurnie.

Ah OK! Nice bit of work to make space for the cross into the danger zone . Bamboozled the defender.

1 goal in 25 games, which was a penalty for an attacking player that cost by our standards a heck of a lot of money. Let's not go overboard.

Be fair to the lad, some of them games have been 5 minutes cameos.

He's looked far better a player under Jose.

If they're grafters punching above their weight then that would mean they were performing as if they were good players, and other clubs would still want them.

Best to play it safe and just sign below average to dross.

In Thiam’s interview, he says he spent most of last season on the right hand side anyway, and also took most of the dead balls too - corners and free kicks etc. So it’s not a new position to him, just a slightly better opposition.

He’s done well recently and I think it’ll only take a couple of goals for him to up his confidence even more.

Bearing in mind how old he is, he comes across as very level headed and a decent lad.

Did I say I wanted him to score goals so we can sell him? I don't think I did.

I'd like him and Moore to have a share in the goals. Simple as that.

You can't hope your players won't produce just in case you sell them on. That's extremely backwards tinkling.

I like Thiam, I've willed him to do well when others have already written him off for not being fit or bothered, now I'd like my belief and the club's to be repaid with a few goals now and again to help keep us up.

It was Yiadom. I've no problem with Thiam in what he's doing. I'm just stating the fact that we need more goals or we are just relying on other teams.

Mcburnie has already established himself as our main threat but he can't do much more than score in every game. Others have to help out.

He has looked better, but still not scoring. His cameos have been because those in charge (mainly Heckingbottom) didn't think he deserved more time, so that's down to himself. If he's cost us seven figures, he should have been upto speed by now. Really hope he adds goals this season to take some pressure off going into next season and to help out Mcburnie.

He has a worse goal scoring record at Barnsley than Dave Regis !! Who is always given as one of the worst players to have played for us. He had lots of cameo roles too, he cost **** all !
I think Thiam HAS to start chipping in with a few goals, as does Moore. we have a fair bit of wedge invested in those 2 and it is a player that we dont even own, that is scoring the goals. The players we have on our books need to be scoring too.

I'd disagree, but respect your opinion. If they are playing well and involved in goals, I dont think it particularly matters who puts the ball in the net. Birmingham away was a prime example. Two balls in from Thiam, one knock down by Moore. Doesn't matter who puts them in the net if the front three is effectively working as a unit. Since Jose got here they have.

Good grief. You hated and moaned all through the Cryne era and now you're continuing into the new ownership. Made up your mind about them already have you?
