Leeds lad isn’t he? Despite playing for Scotland and coming from a Welsh club.

Too good for them though. I suppose it depends if Swansea stay up but I’d say he’ll either go Rangers or a top championship club.

Too good for Leeds, not sure what he's got left on his contract but Swansea should hold on to him for another season at least - might be good enough even for Premier League as he's not done bad for them in the games he played before Christmas.

Hopefully the choice for Oli will be between us, Swansea, and Rangers. If I was the owners I would think about breaking th wage structure for this one assuming we stay up

I doubt very much whether Hecky will be there to have any say in it.

It’s no surprise Hecky wants Oli at Leeds.

But if it is a race between Barnsley and Leeds for McBurnie - and Barnsley really want him - then Barnsley will get him.
    Hecky will know that.

But IMO - there will be a number of targets being put together now at Barnsley.
Is Oli McBurnie one of those targets?
I doubt it - as he is a player from the old regime.
Most of these targets - again IMO - will be more costly than what we have seen before - talented young players from around Europe and beyond.

Agree with this. The speed and smoothness with which a top new coaching team was recruited indicates to me that the new owners mean business. If they want something, they are used to getting it. They'll be casting the net a lot wider than we have ever been used to. McBurnie might be in it because he fits the profile of young, talented and hungry, and could get much better plus have a decent re-sale value. On the other hand, I might be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time!

No chance of him going there. Lazy journalism of players that have played for us, being linked to former head coaches. We should be used to it by now. I expect Yiadom to be linked to Leeds and Brizzle all summer too.

This one is unquestionably too talented for a lower mid table championship club, the last one is a chancer trying his luck above his level. McBurnie will get a well deserved run at a much bigger and better club than Leeds.

See Heckingbottom is getting his excuses in early, in lieu of tonight's game against
League leaders Wolves at Elland Road. Saying they're the best team he's seen in
the League and although he's not ruling out getting the team into the play offs this
season (oops a pigs just flown over my head), he's really got one eye on next season.!
I used to work with quite a number of Leeds fans and speaking to them, after his less
than impressive start, they've got one eye on the exit door. Quite simply, they are totally
underwhelmed and want him out of the Club.

Leeds are a right pull, a bigger one than Swansea.

How arrogant of Hecky to presume he’s going to sign McB for Leeds this summer. As if HE’LL still be manager there this summer.....
