I know it's probably way too early to judge but I already have significant misgivings about the new set up. My heart sank as soon as I saw the midfield set up. Utterly negative. Norwich were there for the taking but we had absolutely zero creativity through the middle of the park. Mallan gets another 10 minutes. Too late, but at least we had a midfielder who looked like he could create something. And, the way Hammill is apparently being treated is, in my opinion, scandalous. Only other clubs' shortcomings can save us. On current evidence we certainly don't deserve it though.

What did Mallan do in his admitedly short time that makes you think he can provide the desperatley needed creative spark?

I’m still trying to work out which one of the players on the pitch were signed by the new set up.

I’ve got misgivings but for different reasons.

Everyone who’s watched us this season knows Hedges only really performs off the bench so instead of using him off the bench he gives him one start, realises he’s not good as a starter & puts him back in the reserves.

Look how knackered McBurnie was after an hour, who would’ve been the ideal replacement down the left with pace & a track record of changing the game off the bench? Hedges should’ve been coming on.

Even Bradshaw & Moncur, yes they aren’t as good as 100% Moore & Thiam but they’re surely better at 100% for 20 mins than Moore & McBurnie are when they’re absolutely done in.

My belief from day one is that he’s just filling the team with big lads & hoping to bully our way to safety.

Two or three dead ball situations and a shot that missed by inches. Could you tell me what Williams, Gardner or Potts did to make you think they could provide the desperately needed creative spark?

Agree - very poor - no creativity and can't see where the goals are going to come from without MCB - same poor defending - drop deep again and let them in - narrow formation and same old huff and puff - if we stay up need a whole bunch of players if we go down this shower won't get us back up - shambolic
