We all know how expensive it has been this season for certain games but if we were relegated does the club usually reassess these categories or do away with them altogether?
    I can't imagine Accrington etc being a cat. A, pay £36 game.
If they are stopped then I presume it would become a fixed price for every game, regardless. If so, what is a suitable amount for the third division?
I've just renewed my s/t (senior) and it works out at £8.70 per game..... not bad for either the Champ or the third division really, so can't complain however they decide the prices for either division.

20 is plenty. I’ll be there no matter what but I wouldn’t want to see any games over £25 max

Given it was 23 quid a game last time we were down there, I'm gonna say 25 for all games and 27 if you want to walk up and see league one football vs Accrington/Luton/AFC Wimbledon on the day.

Sunderland would be category A if they had them. Otherwise who's going to bring many? Donny, Bradford and Rotherham might bring a thousand but who else?

I often hear the argument that says "they charged us £x amount at their ground, so thats what we are going to charge them. But how does that work in practice? Does the team who has the fixture at home first, dictate the price for both games? or do both teams sit down and agree a price for both games, or does the team with highest price win the argument? What happens when both teams can't agree a price?

I'd love to know how it works? Because, to listen to some people on here, it's always the other club that dictates the price and never barnsley.

I've often puzzled about that. We always seem to react to what we've been charged by the other club. What happens when we play them first, we must be the ones who then dictate the price and then they react to us.
We don't know that Leeds will charge us £40 or whatever..... unless it all gets sorted before the season starts.

If I were to pay £22 to enter The Keepmoat, I'd expect to walk out carrying the keys and deeds to the place.
What a drab, soulless, devoid of atmosphere place that is.
There's only the odd appearance from that One Direction youth who can generate anything that remotely resembles an atmosphere there.

We ask the other clubs what their prices are and try to negotiate a reciprocal deal. We aren't the only club to have categories, but I can't think of anyone else who drip feeds them to the public every couple of months like we do.

In answer to the OP, we won't have category pricing in League One. It should also be scrapped if we stay up...but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

We don't try very hard do we. We regularly charge more than we are charged

Ticket prices have to be sent in to football league before season starts .league sponsorship of league (whoever it is at the time) will only let you have a restricted amount of offers for ticket promotion's.
