I'm rather hoping that Adam Davies might post on here "I told you so" when the lads secure survival after his late penalty save in the last game of the season.

You desperately need a good roofer. Or a urologist.

The difference with the pub analogy is the size and composition of audience. It might be your right to criticise, but we should be doing everything we can to help, not hinder, at the moment.

But what can be done on here to help, really? Nowt.

I've posted a thread about the players ramming Paul Heckingbottom's defection down his throat - likely as not many don't see it how I or you do

I think the point is the amount that's being done to hinder.

But what and why woudl it hinder. Players know when they have played well or not. Adam Davies has not been surprised to learn he has made mistakes when (if) he has logged on here

If everyone was slagging off my work performance all over social media, I'm sure someone would make me aware of it. It would make me more nervous and self conscious the next time I went to work as well.

Interesting piece in one of yesterday's papers.

OAKWELL NOW STUCK ON THE ROAD TO HELL.
Games like these ( Barnsley v Bolton) inevitably end with a glass half-empty
feeling and disappointment. The feeling in both camps at Oakwell was the result did absolutely nothing
to ease anyone's nerves with the run in to come. Gary Gardners neat finish after 22 minutes had the home
side leading for an hour and savouring the prospect of leapfrogging their visitors. The fact that a McBurnie header
rescued a point after the Reds went two down was not seen as a positive, even though it kept them within two points
of Bolton. Barnsley defender Liam Lindsay said " There are positives and negatives. We got back into it with a massive
goal, it is still in our hands. The first half was our half and they failed to threaten. We felt comfortable in the second half
but they were awarded a soft penalty and we became deflated."
That was the feeling echoed by Bolton boss Phil Parkinson. Parkinson commented, " Our dressing room was very quiet
as it felt like we had lost. We had a bit of an inquest after they got their late equaliser because at the end of the day we
    have lost two valuable points.

So with four games to go, we are still in danger, but miraculously as Liam Lindsay says ( and we hope the rest of the team
fully appreciate), our destiny is still firmly in our own hands. It's time they got their fingers out and showed us that
they are truly " up" for the scrap.

Would it make you take a look at what you did and how you did it to see if you could improve and stick two fingers up at your critics?

That's it! Never thought of that. Let's all concentrate on slagging 'em off. The coaches obviously aren't looking to see if they can improve so we'll do it for them, but better - because we clearly know better.
    Voila! Championship football next season.
