    Bristol H ......2pts
    Cardiff H ......1pt
    Wolves A ......1pt
    QPR H ..........2pts

    total ............ 6pts

but for our lack of concentration in the dying stages of a game we would have been ok. Hind sight is a precise science I guess. Oh Well.

Also Fulham at home when we'd kept it to 1-1 with 10 men for almost the entire second half, then Davies did a flap.

Would have papered over the fact that bar the odd moment, we were gash over a 46-game season. Relegation never a good thing per se, but it might be that we had to take this step back in order to move forward.

To be fair, we picked 4 of those back up with late ones against Sheff Utd & Bolton.

In fact, ignore that, it'd be 3 points, not four.

ifs and buts.... fact is we failed.

The rot started in the Jan when Connor, Bree and Winnall were all cashed in on along with Mawson at the start of the season and then no intention to renew the contracts of the likes of scowen and roberts because of the likelihood of increased wages most likely. Mismanagement at a huge level. The club was basically asset stripped right before our eyes. Was this because certain people knew what was coming or was it pure incompetence? What ever it was we are now seeing the aftermath of that destruction. This has been further compounded by a complete shambles in the recruitment in trying to re-attempt the same model on a higher scale. We've blown a lot of cash on sub standard players and failed to get the ones that did come good on new contracts - such as Yiadom.

The writing was on the cards when Patrick went back on his word that he would rather see winall and conor leave on a free at the end of the season and it was that, that was key in making my mid up not to renew my season ticket as i was sick of the club doing this. I decided i would rather spend my time with my two toddlers on a saturday instead going to watch the footy. I managed 3 or 4 games but glad to say i never witnessed a Morais game in the flesh. Kept an eye on progress and just knew we were going to go down. The guy was clueless and this was evident after game one.

We are where we deserve to be after what has gone on within the club since we came back to the championship!

Lets hope the new owners do things right going forwards and i may go back to watching us regularly again when i can see the club is pulling in the same direction. until then i'll put my time where its more appreciated.

I posted at the time re: home to QPR my concerns about PH tactics .
Why change to 442 when we were comfortably 1-0 up playing 451 at half time .
Second half we lost control of midfield and Potts was hung out to dry wide right .
We hardly put three passes together and consequently conceded late on .

Davies was at fault though, flapping at a shot he should have saved easily. Those two points, eh.

I would suspect Bolton and Birmingham could point to games themselves.

If we'd had a decent keeper we'd have been at least ten points better off.
