This is only my opinion like. Lots have said we have a ***** squad which is true to a point to compete in the championship we were well short. However with a year at a higher level I think we will be starting the new season with a team more than capable of getting out first go. A few additions needed but no where near as many as last year. I think loads will shine in this league and hopefully grow like the last lot did. As many have said the manager is the critical bit if we **** that up again we will struggle. Im backing us to go up as champs providing we don't end up with a silly person in charge. Only saying like.

This is the best I’ve ever felt that we could go up as champs out of any other promotions we’ve had

Agreed. Defence needs no new additions in my opinion - maybe a new GK. Hammill, Hedges, Isgrove could all shine in league one. As should Moore and Bradshaw. CM needs work, but think Mallan, Moncur and Potts could perform well in league one. Just need a few quality additions and I'm confident we'll challenge for automatic.

I’d go as far as saying that a new number one is an absolute must. Davies has been a loyal servant but it’s undeniable that he has struggled at this level for well over a year and surely next season we need to be looking to put a squad together that will be better suited to staying up and kicking on if/when we secure promotion back to the Championship.

I’d be overjoyed with Steele and Walton as two goalkeepers vying for the number one shirt as I think they’d really push each another and the competition would see both improve.

True - maybe I was being too kind to Davies.
