I don't understand how we can make offers for players without a manager

Because we don't have a manager, won't have a manager, we'll have a head coach.

It was explained at the time of appointing Lee Johnson that the title Head Coach was semantics......he still had final say, as did Heckingbottom on transfers.

Because we don't have managers we have head coaches who are given players to coach...hence most decent managers who get interviewed for the vacant seat at Oakwell tell them to shove the job up their jacksies. . Hence the amount of ***** we sign lol

Maybe we've got a manager/head coach but the powers that be are teasing us by making us wait

The majority of teams on the continent work using a head coach system. They're not all populated with crap players.
We had a head coach system in place when we had one of the finest teams of this century at Oakwell just two years back.

I very much doubt that. It's looking like the Shrews manager is top of the list and waiting for the playoffs to end to see what division they'll be playing in. So that'll be another week to wait, at least

The thing is, Mamadou Thiam and Dimitri Cavare looked just as good in their Showreels, I'll reserve judgement for now. We also use the model of recruiting players for the Head Coach to use.

Because we haven't made an appt yet, there's still clubs playing in the playoffs, and he seems to be the kind of manager we'd go for based on the last few (Morais apart).

So I've put 2 and 2 together and probably way off but just an opinion

thiam and cavare have stolen wages Whoever sold them to us must have been absolutely rubbing there hands when they left what a pile of shiv they have contributed absolutely nothing to the team or the cause Don't get me wrong we have had one of the largest squads and used probably all of them at some time with only a positive contribution from a select few . This has to stop every player has to add value . We should have pay as you play

Unpopular opinion but I actually thought that Thiam contributed well when played out wide in a 4-3-3. He’s often maligned by the fans but I really hope that he gets them on side. I love an underdog and he certainly fits the bill.

I thought he did ok as a winger. Needed to work on his crosses which were a bit too hard most of the time but I thought he showed potential.

Get Thiam in with a fitness coach over the summer to up his fitness and lose a few pounds.
Saw glimpses of quality with nice touches.
Think in Division 1 if fit could be a big player.
