    He'd turned a club that recently has been either championship or challenging for promotion, to a mid table side before his sacking. If he hadn't been let go they probably would have had one of their worse finishes to a season this century possibly?

    Not even the Barnsley link is enough to want him. He was an OK player with us, nothing more. If he was to get it, we might as well have kept Morais.

    we were definitely looking at him in February, strange that his price has come in, hopefully just someone that has lumped on, Arteta was 1/6 on for Arsenal job a few hours before Emery got it so bookies aren't always right!

    Victors now 1/2. Beginning to look ominous, that.

    He's also 1/4 for the Bradford job. Can't get both.

    Actually ok with McCann. He played really good attacking football before they had a run of draws which left them 6 points off playoffs.

    Hes a workaholic aparantly and great at developing a team and players. Peterborough signed a lot of lower / non league players when he was the boss and he developed them brilliantly - players like Maddison and Marriott came from non league and Luton.

    He would have better resources, a better academy, better facilities and a better squad to work with here.

    And he wouldn’t have to work for that knob of a chairman McAnthony which must be a right pain in the arse.

    Posh fans weren’t happy he was sacked;

    If that’s who we are looking at why even look outside the club. May as well give Harsley a shot at it if he wants it!

    There is no way ever that our billionaire owners who have recently taken over would employ Grant McCann as our new manager and be the person to lift spirits and take us back in to the championship, absolutely no way. Jose didn't work out but I am fully expecting a higher profile manager than GM and that's not being massive if PC was in charge still I would expect and accept that kind of appointment but not now.

    The owners aren’t here to splash the cash. You do realise that don’t you?

    Who do you expect? We never got high profile in the championship so we've no chance now! A bit of stability and experience at this level would be a good start....
